Join the Caribbean Equality Project and our community partners as we participate in the 2022 NYC Pride March to amplify Caribbean culture and represent the diverse Caribbean LGBTQ+ voices we serve in NYC. This year, our goal is to continue affirming Caribbean LGBTQ+ identities under the colorfully inclusive theme: “Live Pridefully: Love and Resilience within Pandemics.” This aligns with our effort to continue the "Big Truck" tradition and present a contingent inclusive of our Afro- and Indo-Caribbean cultural backgrounds and ancestry as we continue advocating for equity and liberation for Caribbean LGBTQ+ immigrants in NYC.
NYC Pride is limiting the number of marchers per contingent. As a result, space is limited. Registration is required and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pandemic has impacted our social fundraising activities. Please show us your pride by giving a meaningful gift to support our participation at the Queens Pride Parade and NYC Pride March. We need YOU to make it all happen! Please donate & share!

About the March:
The NYC Pride March will begin at noon on June 26th from 25th Street and 5th Avenue. Marchers will proceed south on 5th Avenue before heading west on 8th Street. After crossing over 6th Avenue, the March will continue on Christopher Street passing the Stonewall National Monument. It will then turn north on 7th Avenue, passing the New York City AIDS Memorial, before dispersing in Chelsea at 16th Street and 7th Avenue.
Caribbean Equality Project is committed to bringing the community together in person with basic safety precautions in place to ensure we can celebrate Pride with the lowest possible risk.
1) Mask wearing is optional but encouraged when interacting with others
2) Marchers and volunteers will be asked to complete a screening survey before entering the staging area.
