Caribbean Equality Project’s 2025 Pride Activations

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the Caribbean Equality Project's advocacy for Caribbean LGBTQ+ Voices in New York. However, we need your help to continue holding space to amplify Caribbean LGBTQ+ visibility and representation at various Pride Parades, including organizing intimate community gatherings, educational programs, and social events—all centered on the diversity of our community.

Pride will always be a protest, and we will march and dance to continue centering joy, resistance, and affirming Caribbean LGBTQ+ identities under the theme of "Live Pridefully: We Will Not Be Erased." Under the Trump administration, LGBTQ+ people are experiencing unprecedented systemic violence, federal erasure, and discrimination in accessing jobs, identification, travel documents, and healthcare. In a country (even in New York State) that continues to threaten our rights and lives, this theme aligns our advocacy to fight back while presenting a contingent inclusive of our Afro- and Indo-Caribbean cultural backgrounds and ancestry, as we advocate for a more transformative society—one based on love, justice, and liberation.

Your support and love will help us participate in the Queens Pride Parade, host our annual Pride Fete, continue our 5-year-running monthly Food Justice program, coordinate a panel discussion focused on LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, and mash-up de road at the 2025 NYC Pride March by producing another fabulous "Big Truck," a 27th-year tradition co-founded by the late beloved Trinidadian-born activist Colin Robinson.

Please show us your Caribbean Pride by giving a meaningful gift to support our numerous 2025 Pride Activations. Please donate and share our Big Truck Fundraiser.
