⚲ Terrace On The Park: Penthouse • 52-11 111th St Queens, NY 11368

We are honored to invite you to the Caribbean Equality Project’s inaugural gala, "We Are Home: A Decade of Resistance and Belonging."

This landmark event will celebrate 10 years of unapologetic advocacy, radical love, and cultural power rooted in the Caribbean LGBTQ+ immigrant experience. This evening will bring together community leaders, artists, allies, and advocates in racial justice, immigrant rights, health equity, and the LGBTQ+ movement for a night of joy, storytelling, and commitment to justice.

For a decade, Caribbean Equality Project (CEP) has been at the forefront of advancing justice, equity, and visibility for LGBTQ+ Caribbean immigrants and their neighbors in New York City. Through culturally responsive advocacy, storytelling, community organizing, and direct support, CEP has created safe spaces and mobilized resources for some of our communities' most marginalized members.

This gala is a defining moment in our collective journey. Right now, LGBTQ+ Caribbean people are confronting layered legal, political, and economic battles across the globe. For many, CEP has been their safeguard—showing up in courtrooms, health clinics, classrooms, and pride marches. This inaugural gala is not just a celebration of 10 years—it is our bold commitment to permanence, to expanding our reach, and to staying rooted in service.
